The Biblical account of creation found in the book of Genesis is often thought of as being a myth, even amongst some Christians. It is so easy just to ignore the events recorded in this book and go along with the evolutionary view of the origin of life. But is this the ostrich approach to an important question of why we are here? If we take the evolutionary view of our existence, we are here without a purpose. For eighty or so years we live on this earth and then die... how interesting. Isn't there a greater purpose in us being on this planet? The book of Genesis talks of God's creation of life, and gives mankind a purpose for our existence. Many cultures have similar stories to those mentioned in Genesis. It has been found that the Chinese had recorded these events in their written language. For forty years a small group of people researched the Chinese characters and amazingly found hidden in some of the characters the Genesis events. The years of research has been compiled in the book “The Discovery of Genesis” by C.H. Kong and Ethel R. Nelson.
